Each year our club has many vocational service projects planned. A few of these projects currently being planned are:
Participation in the "SAW" (Success At Work) Program for school age children.
Sponsoring a "Drug Awareness" project at the middle school level.
Providing scholarships to deserving college bound high school seniors.
Sponsoring programs to prepare young adults and children for success in acquiring scholarship and grant monies for higher education.
Honoring an outstanding community or business leader each year.
Teacher of the Year Award.
Vocational Service is the Avenue of Service that deals with careers. Vocational Service has been described as the way by which Rotarians "recognize the worthiness of all useful occupations." This avenue of service's goal is to promote high eithical standards in all businesses and professions.
